I usually need to frequently reapply lip balm, but this one lasts several hours. The scent is beautiful, although not suitable for those who don't like the scent of roses. My only criticism is that I wish the lip balm was not so shiny. I would prefer something that looks more like a balm than a gloss on the lips.
