Hydrated Skin
Reaching the menopause my skin felt dry and looked dull and lacked radiance. Have been using this gel cream for a few weeks and have seen and felt an improvement. I love the gel/cream texture as it feels really cooling on application and is an excellent base for makeup. My skin feels and looks more fresh, hydrated and my glow is slowly returning. Will explore other products within the range.

Could not live without this cream!
I have very dry eczema prone skin and this cream is the only cream I have tried out of hundreds that doesn't irritate my skin and also hydrates it. It is a nice thick but not heavy formula. It really calms my skin also when I am having a flare. Could not recommend enough!!

Couldn't live without it
Ignore any negative reviews - go to a clinique counter, if you can, to try it for yourself if you're not sure. I have dry skin with rosy cheeks but otherwise blemish free. This is the only thing I've used that really gives me that moisturised feeling that I crave. I buy the 125ml tub so I don't run out. It's the intense version or nothing for me. The usual moisture surge is no better than rubbing milk into my skin, it soaks in so fast :)

Really good on sensitive skin
I wouldn't say my skin is extremely dry but my skin is rosacea prone and very reactive. This didn't irritate at all and I really enjoyed using it. Perhaps a little too much as I went through a jar within a few weeks. Somehow I think this is better for me than the lighter formulation which I have used previously in older formulations. This felt very nice and made my skin very comfortable.

Try for a moisture boost
I went back to Clinique after trying some very generous free products from another high end skincare and cosmetics company. I use the Clinique redness solutions moisturiser normally but felt I needed a boost in the chilly winter weather . I was recommended this on live chat because I mentioned that I didn't really get on with the 100hr version of this ( I got free samples with purchase and felt it wasn't very moisturising ) This 72hr cream seems to be a better fit for my skin . As some other reviews have stated , it doesn't absorb as well as some other moisturisers so I tend to use at night so the excess that is sat on my skin doesn't matter so much . I have rosacea and it doesn't aggravate it . I also use the moisture surge night mask some evenings though , that might make a difference

Original is much better
I bought the intense version by accident as part of a set thinking it was the original. Admittedly this is my own fault but this cream does not suit my skin at all. It feels heavy and greasy and has broken me out in spots almost as soon as I started using it. Feels like I've wasted money buying this product but the original moisture surge is fantastic

Makes my eyes sting and stream
It may be just me, but I have changed from the normal moisture surge to give this new one a go. As soon as I put it on my face (leaving a large area around my eyes free) the fumes make my eyes sting like I've put washing up liquid in my eyes! and I can't stop them from streaming! Not great when I'm trying to put on mascara for work! I use the Clinique moisture surge eye gel with no issues at all.
