Product Description

Curlsmith In-Shower Style Fixer is not for the faint of heart.

This gel will lock your curls in a super strong hold which will provide extreme definition, long-lasting frizz control and weather protection for your curls.

It does create a strong cast while drying which will feel crunchy to the touch, but this is only temporary. Once the hair is fully dry you just need to scrunch out the crunch with a little bit of oil to make your curls soft and bouncy again.

WHO IS IT FOR? All curl types! Best for medium to coarse thickness hair. Suitable for any porosity.

Directions

- Use on soaking wet hair.
- Take a dime sized amount per hair section.
- Rub it between your palms first.
- Smooth down the length of the hair, using the “praying hands” method.
- Scrunch gently upwards, then air dry or diffuse.
- When fully dry, scrunch again to break the cast.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent hold for my fine hair I found this made my hair feel sticky the first time I used it. When I used a bit less and then scrunched and diffused a little bit more, it felt much better. I have fine hair that gets weighed down easily so a strong hold gel is really helpful to keep my curls in place for a bit longer. It does feel like it gets tangled more easily though, but I think I'd get that with most gels.

The gel has a strong cast and the texture is rather thick, so the hair must be sufficiently wet when styling. Personally I preferably style on dumb hair. but overall it is a good product.

Hold is OK, but maybe it would be better if I didn't have to keep adding water! I had hoped for more.
