Directions

How to apply this lip pencil:

Using the tip of the lip pencil, line lips first before filling in with color to create a bold, matte lip make-up look.

 Try lining lips with one lip color, then filling in a color with a lighter shade for fuller lips with added dimension.
Allow the formula to dry fully for a transfer-proof color.

Sharpen before each use with the Pencil Sharpener (sold separately) for best results.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Twist mechanism broken I purchased 112 and agree with other opinions about getting a little dry after applying it, so it would not "bleed". 12 hours if you do not drink or eat, otherwise it is gone. The biggest problem I had was to twist the bottom that allows you to push the lipstick up for use. My husband had to use some pliers to turn the bottom, so I could use this pencil a little longer than 2 weeks.

Recently bought again and it’s not the same. it does last longer and it’s creamier than the old formula yet the colour now is much darker and dries out your lip during the day. Nars lost a loyal customer, currently searching for a new lip shade in other brands.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from PLEASE BRING BACK THE VELVET FORMULA The new formula of Dolce vita is just too pigment and the color is already different. The old formula is much more comfortable as I can build up the pigment w/o making my lips look like I just put tons of paint on them.

I'm impressed by both the texture and the color of the lip pencil. Even after eating, I didn't reapply it, and it stayed on my lips just as well as it did the first time I applied it.
