It’s not what I expected

I was hoping that the peach and vanilla would come through more. I don’t hate it, but it’s not something that I would wear, but I have a friend who would love it. So it’s going to her.

There are too many notes in this luxurious scent. The more obvious feeling is red orange, peach, bergamot, mandarin, rose, raspberry, patchouli.
Empressa, a delicate, luxurious and proud fragrance contained in a royal glass bottle.

Warm floral notes

I recently was introduced to this brand on a trip to London and really loved their products. Empressa is very floral, which I’m not a particularly big fan of, but my husband loves it. Much warmer than a traditional floral, and smells familiar. If you enjoy floral scents I would recommend this fragrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Penhaligon’s Empressa is such a be beautiful fragrance that feels both luxurious and approachable. The first thing you notice is the bright, citrusy opening. Then it softens into this lovely mix of roses and a subtle fruity sweetness, like peaches or apricots, that feels classy but not old fashioned. What I love most is the dry-down. It’s warm and comforting, with hints of patchouli, amber, and a touch of vanilla, but it never feels heavy. It lasts a good 6 to 8 hours on me, which is always a plus! Overall, it’s perfect if you want something elegant but not too fussy.

A little goes a long way
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave it a poor rating because the scent wasn’t for me. I thought I would like it based on the description of the scents, but I felt that it was scent I may like in 10 years. To me it’s an older scent and I felt it was aging me..lol…. Also, a little goes along way. What little I sprayed on lasted me all day. When I accidentally sprayed too much.. it was overpowering. I don’t want to say I wouldn’t recommend it because of how I felt about the scent, but maybe someone else would enjoy it.

Longevity !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very strong unisex fragrance. Suitable for fall and winter scent library. I wouldn’t say it is particularly my favorite but am so thrilled I was able to try Penhaligons. I will say that I definitely preferred the dry down of this particular scent and I received compliments. Thank you for letting me try it!

A Must Try!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a complementary sample from Influenster. It smells heavenly and the scent does last all day. I did receive several compliments on the product. The scent last all day. It has a unique scent that I’ve never smelled before. The only problem was the sample was so small that I was only able to wear for maybe 2 days. A definite add to my collection.
