The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG reduces appearance of eye contour pigmentation and of puffiness.
This light-textured formula contains an extremely high 5% concentration of caffeine, supplemented with highly-purified Epigallocatechin Gallatyl Glucoside (EGCG) from green tea leaves. Independent studies have shown that topical use of each of caffeine and EGCG can help reduce looks of puffiness and of dark circles in the eye contour. Additional studies have shown that caffeine can also reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Alcohol-free, oil-free, nut-free, vegan.

Massage a small amount onto the eye contour AM and PM.

Caused allergic reaction
I love all my other serums from The Ordinary, but this one has caused terrible irritation to my upper and lower lids. I've been using it off & on for a couple weeks to reduce morning puffiness. I'd noticed this rashy reaction and hadn't been sure of the cause, but by process of elimination this caffeine serum is the culprit.
Yesterday evening I took a warm bath, and while sitting in the steam I could feel my lids burning! When I got out and looked in the mirror, my upper lids were swollen and the lower had a terrible rash. I'd say skip this one if you have sensitive skin.

Love, love, love!
When I first saw the reviews for this product I was hesitant to purchase it but I did. I have had darkened skin all around my eyes for as long as I can remember, due to being a mixed woman and having health problems. I’ve been using this for 2 weeks now and can already see a clear difference. It does not pill on my skin not cause irritation. I drop a very small amount on the back of my hand and use my middle finger to press it into my skin. Very pleased with the efficacy and price, would most definitely recommend! 🙂

Puffiness GONE but dark circles no
I initially got this for the dark circles part as I didn’t really have much puffiness, if anything I have more deep set eyes. However, this took whatever puff it could get rid of and now my eye SOCKET is so prominent. My skin in full lighting makes my eyes look like they’re going to cave into my skull and has a blue/ green tint to my skin. To the point where I’ve almost gone to a doctor. 3 stars because like yeah ok it does what it said but it also did TOO much and now I look sick honestly, dark circles didn’t change either.

Purchased for the first time & very pleased with the results so far. Have purchased a second bottle to make sure I don’t run out. Easy to apply & liquid is absorbed quickly. Definitely reduced puffiness & tightens appearance of the under eye area.

Can I use this serum with the ordinary argereline serum, can I mix both together a few drops each and apply under my eye or would you say apply caffeine one first let it dry then apply argereline
I can't see why not. I found the caffeine solution quite drying for my under eyes but I am 55 and need generally more emollient products under my eyes. I haven't used the argereline product though. Sorry if this doesn't answer your question.

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG is suitable for all skin types.
When applying eye products, remember to use your ring finger as your eye area is very delicate and your ring finger is the most gentle.
